The climate in the Boreal Forest is particularly cold. Winter's lowest temperature in taiga is -65° and highest 30°f. the weather in the summer is at highest 70°f an at lowest 30°f.The forest also has a high average amount of rain each year ( 40 inches). Most of the precipitation in the forest is from snow. The winters are very long and cold. This means the summers are short and cool. Also because snow melts and low temperatures there is little evaporation during the summers extremely long days. During the summertime, the days are very long and can experience 20 hours of sunlight. In some parts of the boreal forest north of the Arctic Circle, the sun never sets in the summer. In the winter, though, there is much more night than day. in the summer there is up to 20 hours of sun light a day.
